People have their own tastes. I don't expect everyone will like my writing, but I do think it's bizarre that a person who doesn't like my books would send me a friend request.

I would also find that strange. PS- I loved the book I read of yours and plan to pick up a second.

If all they wanted were my opinions on books, the Follow Reviews option is right there, which makes me suspect the goal is to put their opinions on books in my space as a reader.

i think these people must feel bad about themselves, so they like to project that onto others to make themselves feel better. i LOVE your books. i think they're captivating
