I didn’t really love First Time Caller. I read Good Spirits before First time Caller, and it completely blew me away. So for me, First Time Caller paled in comparison, especially with Aiden as the MC. I prefer MCs like the one in Good Spirits, who knows what he wants and goes after it, even when it doesn’t make sense.

Once you read this book, you’ll understand why I wasn’t excited about the relationship or Jackson. I just don’t enjoy a wishy-washy MC who leaves me even more confused than the FMC. Like what's going on? Is it a relationship? What are we doing here? 😭​​🫠​

@Minne ahhh haha, we’re opposites again because I preferred First Time Caller over Good Spirits - but not because of the mmc (I do think Aiden wasn’t the best guy), but i enjoyed the vibes of first time caller more with the nostalgic rom com feel and the radio show. But I see why you liked Nolan because he was more decisive! Sorry And Now Back To You didn’t work out for you! I’ll see when I read how it goes 🥹🩵

I'll make it my life's mission to find a book we both love hahah. But OMG I love the old-school vibe. It reminded me of nights when I would fall asleep listening to people talk about their love lives and troubles on the radio loll 🤭

Omg yes! For me, it's because I'm more indifferent than anything. There's nothing much to say when I feel that way ​🫠​

I didn’t really like the first one honestly so I’m glad I’m deterred from the second one haha
