It’s a shame that more “fake” books are being published as legitimate books. I have seen other reviews of obvious AI fiction that the reader thought was written by a person. I am appalled that the “author” contacted you with such a disgusting and vile email.

Dan my friend - thank you so much for appreciating my tenacity in this matter & taking time to read my review & again appreciating it.....I am really speechless; & that is saying something because in the past few months - I would say since October 2025 - I been TBRing, purchasing or getting these ARCs from indie-authors (for now) & I can tell you - almost 78% of the books I got were definately done using AI either in the story writing process or editing & proof-reading process. I knew this because when I then conversed with the afore mentioned indie-authors for an interview or 'just a chat' on Whatsapp - boom - most of them did not even know the topic concerning their own book & some could not even speak coherently in English! I think I need to write a detailed blog post or journalistic article on this topic - AI automating all art forms including writing!
Luckily, all the other indie-authors whom I have read & reviewed since October 2025 till now, & before, obviously, have written their own books & edited them through real humans or themselves, by the grace of God! But those other 'AI or LLM' written books, I just left them unread. What to say?!
Thank you Dan for being here with me today, this means a lot to me. This shows you are a compassionate soul with a astute sense of mind & with much more common sense than me - I can't believe I got my poor office staff & my aging maternal uncle into this situation for a whole weekend while I was busy all over Mumbai collecting data on missing Catholic nuns who practice nefarious activites (as I have mentioned above in my book review) & need to be found pronto - then lying in bed with a raging fever I caught during the process, nuns can really disappear when they want to!!! I think I am going in for Chikungunya again, but I am now used to it! (It is a mosquito-borne disease like Malaria & Dengue, only worse!) ; But it does not stop me from working & connecting with wonderful & eclectic GR readers like you Dan - amazing to see you here - drop by often & I'll come to your page often too. :) :D Lots of love & God's blessings upon you & over all your loved ones! <3 :D :D

I am so glad you are writing this Michael & I have something important to share but I'll just be in for my prayers, supper & then Lenten Stations of the Cross for Benedictine Nuns & then will mention the important thing I have to say.
Genuine & erudite writers like you & me, Michael, are losing out a lot because of such writers who are using 'God knows what' to write their books & then are going unchecked! I'll be back.
