Coincidently, I just watched the miniseries The Swarm (2023), based on this book. German film company, with a lavish use of international locations and actors.

I did, but subtitles were required. The Germans spoke German, the Canadians spoke Canadian, and sometimes the Nordic-types spoke German too.
