My Books are on some else's page > Likes and Comments

I recently had a problem with my books being placed on another author's page. This has happened before. This other author never notifys me or tries to fix this herself, so I am left to police how my readers add my books.

I have asked if there is a way to differentiate my author name from hers (we are both Cathy Tully) but I have not gotten an answer.

To try and let my readers know the difference, I added an underscore to my profile. I just got an email telling me I'm breaking the rules.

I assume removing the underscore will fix the problem.

So, again, I am asking. Is there anything I can do to differentiate my author name from the other author? Mine is a pen name which I chose without realizing there was another author with the same name.

Your name is differentiated from other authors by the number of spaces in it.

The other author probably never noticed your books on her page. Not everyone checks their profiles obsessively.

Most books are imported from Amazon, not added manually. If they end up in the wrong place you can always ask here.

FYI I don't check my books obsessively, either. So not sure why you added that. My books had been on her page for years before a reader brought it to my attention, so neither of us are paying much attention. 😄
