well said, this was why I didn't enjoy the book as well.
I have just finished reading this book recently. For me, it taught me a lot of new things I hadn't known as an Indonesian, and for that, the book felt very informative. However, reviews like yours helped adding other perspectives/contexts that I also lacked. Thank you!
