Pleased to see your positive review, Alan. Do you feel she’s grown as a writer since My Name is Leon? I liked that one well enough, but did not love it.

I think this is a step forward, but I liked her biography best of all her stuff (Without Warning… ). That is a brilliant piece of work. I do know her slightly as she was in my writers’ group for a short while, just before Leon came out.
