Ushrayinee Sarker Hi I originally self-published this book online before publishing it a second time more formally.
this is the first one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...
and this is the second one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
could these two be merged please?
the first has some reviews and ratings I'd like to preserve as well.

thank you!

Linde Hi there, I'm going through the old requests without 'Done', 'Retired', 'Solved' or 'Completed' in the title (max 1 year old), to see if we missed any requests (no reply from a librarian). Thanks for your patience. And... Done by someone! What you're asking for is called 'Combining'. The book stays visible and is linked with the same book, just different edition. Merging is when two exactly the same books become one.

Please help the Librarians to focus on the requests that are still open, by moving this topic to the "Archived" folder (and your other completed requests*). I can't do that. Instructions:
1. Click on the tiny "edit"-button at the right of the topic's title (only available for desktop/laptop, not in the app)
2. Change the folder to "Archived"
3. Don't forget to click on "SAVE"

Greetings

* It would be great if you moved all your 'done' requests about adding new books/editions to the "[Closed] Added Books/Editions" folder and all the other 'done' requests to the "Archived" folder. Go to the Home page of the Goodreads Librarians Group and click on "My Group Topics" (find an example screen shot here.).

Riccardo Forte Hi there! I’m Riccardo Forte, and it looks like Goodreads has created a duplicate author profile for me.

My verified author profile shows only the Italian and Spanish editions of my book, but my new English edition “Target Unknown” is not linked to my Author Dashboard.

Could you please:
1. Merge the duplicate “Riccardo Forte” author profiles
2. Link “Target Unknown” to my main author profile
3. Combine all three editions (Italian, Spanish, English) as one work

Here are the book links:
- Italian edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
- Spanish edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
- English edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thank you very much!

Riccardo Forte Hi there! I’m Riccardo Forte, again.

I made a mistake with the links. I apologize for that.

There is still a duplicate author profile for me.

My verified author profile shows only the Italian edition of my book, but my new English edition “Target Unknown” is not linked to my Author Dashboard.

Could you please:
1. Merge the duplicate “Riccardo Forte” author profiles
2. Link “Target Unknown” to my main author profile
3. Combine the two editions (Italian, English) as one work

Here are the book links (corrected):
- Italian edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

- English edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Please, let me know asap, because I need the link for an ARC Hidden Gems campaign

Thank you very much!

I'm sorry for the confusion.

Riccardo Forte Hi there! Thank you very much for fixing the problem! Best, Riccardo

Scott The books are already on your profile. Use the combine link to bring them together, and please don't create blank records.

Riccardo Forte Hi Librarians,
I’ve noticed that Target Unknown by Riccardo Forte appears on Goodreads under two separate book pages. They refer to the same book, but one of the entries contains incorrect metadata.
Here are the two links:
1. Incorrect entry — shows 1108 pages and lists Riccardo Forte + Elettra Pauletto (Translator):
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
2. Correct entry — shows 820 pages (ebook) and lists Riccardo Forte (Goodreads Author):
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
These are duplicates and should be merged, with the second entry (820 pages) as the correct one.
Both entries have reviews, so please save them.
Thank you very much for your help!

message 8: by Scott (new)

Scott I have combined them. They are distinct formats and should not be merged.
