Hi Daniel! (By the way, I love anyone who has the name Daniel - such lovely name dear! I even fancy the Islamic version of it, Daniyal & have many-many-MANY students of that name & they are little sweet angels in my life - even though some of them are adults now! I have been teaching for 20 years!)
Just a note Daniel to say that I have received the copy of your book & that I will be prioritizing it pronto. You will get a review from me for your book on Goodreads, Amazon.in, Fable & StoryGraph ASAP. I hope we can support each other & I hope you see this message. Happy Writing & Reading to you too this awesome but hectic working week! Have a lovely sunny day! :D :)
Thank you so much!I, too, am a teacher. Seven years of Highschool Special Education and fifteen (so far) teaching an inclusive and adapted martial arts program here in Austin, TX.
I look forward to your reviews and I would love to return the favor at any time in the future.
Hi Daniel, I just filled the form, would be happy to read your book. (I used my real name, not this pen name, so don't be surprised. ) Thanks

This was so lovely to hear Daniel! Then I must also interview you for my website teaching portfolio for PGCITE fizapathansteachingportfolioforpgcite.com as well as my Literary Blog insaneowl.com ASAP. Will get in touch with you for the same as soon as my tuitions get over tonight. It would be more than just a pleasure to interview you about your book, your own writing process & most importantly your teaching career & how your vocation as a teacher has impacted your writing & vice versa. I think you must be a very loving & fatherly teacher, your students are super-lucky with you Daniel! God bless you & them abundantly! AND I am enjoying your awesome book as well, right up my alley! My ultimate favorite genre after Splatterpunk fiction. :) :D Lots of love & a bear hug from me! :D :D

Book One in The Hound of the Gods Contemporary Fantasy series.
War Dog
Drustan Seta spent his life fighting cryptids out of myths and legends. What that got him was PTSD, huge gaps in his memory, and an addiction to pain pills. When his only friend Frank goes missing, he believes that finding him might pull him out of his downward spiral. Instead, he gets sucked into a war between two factions bent on bringing back the old Gods and the magic they make possible. If either side prevails, it could mean the end of the world.
War Dog will appeal to readers who love the rich complexity of fairy tales, world mythologies, cryptids, fast-paced plots, and subverted tropes. Readers looking for main characters who simply are LGBTQIA +, physically challenged, or otherwise not part of the able-bodied, white, heteronormative masses will enjoy the diversity of the characters as the series progresses.
My influences as a writer include the usual suspects such as Dresden Files and Iron Druid, but I also find inspiration in The Sixth World Series by Rebecca Roanhorse, The Magicium series by T.N. Baldwin, and The Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko.
I'm giving a free epub or pdf to anyone who wants to be an ARC reader for me. This is my first novel, so I don't see any reason to say no to anyone who wants a copy and is willing to give me feedback, reviews, or whatever you'd like to volunteer to help me become a better writer. Thanks!
