Melina Druga Do you read multiple books at once, or one at a time?

Reading by Deb One at a time. I totally immerse myself in a story and don't need the distractions of another book. That is doubly true as I am a book reviewer and don't need any to mix thoughts and notes.

While I've written multiple books at once, I've never read more than one, at least not since college. Now that I'm eBook only, it would be a bit difficult.

Amber Grosjean When I read a book, I have to read one at a time. My mind doesn't register very well when I'm in reading mode, so I have to move at a slower pace, taking in each word one at a time. Unlike with my writing, where I can work on multiple things at once lol. It's weird how the mind works. I don't question it anymore; I just go with it, accepting the way I am.

That makes sense, unlike the people who can read 60 books a month. I wonder how well they're actually reading.

iain I’m male so can only read one book at a time!! 😜

message 7: by Len (new)

Len I am now down to reading two books simultaneously. Before I retired I used to read one on the bus to and from work, one in the lunch break, another in the evening, a fourth at the weekend, and a final one at bedtime. I can't do it now. I can only just remember where I am with two books.

Nathalie DeSousa I am super fast reader, so I can do two books at a time... or an audio book while I read a book (I know, I am weird!)
