This is my favorite review to date. Beyond the pure hatred for the book, I am genuinely grateful you gave it a shot. So I appreciate your time (though a complete waste) nonetheless. Not every book is for everyone, and that’s okay. Judging my sexual orientation and or taking quotes out of content isn’t ideal or charitable, but I still am grateful for the review and your time.
To not enjoy a book and write a review with high criticism is definitely fine to do and one thing but absolutely tearing it's author apart while also presuming things about their sexual orientation that have nothing and I do mean NOTHING to do with how or why this book is written is a red flag of someone who has a flare for the melodramatic. Someone who also thinks they are padding their argument with quotes not placed in proper context. It's giving straight woman who really thinks reading a book she doesn't like is a waste of time when what's really a waste of time is getting this mad at a book. I thoroughly believe a person has a right to their opinion on their perspective of a book but making deprecating comments on the character of its writer just based on your dislike of their book is disgusting bullying and, just to be extra, ✨Tacky✨.
