Sharif Khan Are there any funny novels you can recommend that made you laugh out loud? I'm especially looking for humorous fiction books that contain some spiritual, self-help, mystical, metaphysical and/or philosophical elements.

Monika Tinoco I would love to also have recommendations on that type of books.

Monika Tinoco The art of racing in the rain by Garth Stein.
If you speak Spanish, I would recommend: Cien Cuyes by Gustavo Rodrigues.

Michelle Chapman Kitchen Confidential with Anthony Bourdain or The Help (better than the movie 🎬)...I really need to read more funny books 📚

Sharif Khan Thanks. I enjoyed The Help and will check out The art of racing in the rain. Bourdain sounds great too, but I'm looking for fiction reads. I also happen to be writing a funny mystical novel for release later in the year.

Rachel If you like dark, laugh-aloud parody, Christopher Moore and Carl Hiaasen, don't mind characters dying in bizarre ways, enjoy a bit of raunch, check out my lampoon of The Bachelor, which hit #12 in "Dark Humor" on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Grab-Groom-Com...

Rachel Hi, I'm Rachel. I write award-winning, literary-slanted fiction with a lot of humor.

Michelle Dsouza How to Be a Bad Buddhist – Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse
Sharp, irreverent, and genuinely funny. Spiritual without being precious. Feels like someone smart gently roasting both spirituality and you.

A.Putman-Bey The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
by Douglas Adams

A classic comedic sci-fi romp that’s wildly absurd, brilliantly witty, and endlessly quotable. From a depressed robot to a towel obsessed travel guide, this book is hilarious from page one.
