I do enjoy seeing international cover art, so interesting to see the same concept through different cultural eyes. And, yes, one can certainly feel that the illustrator (or someone who is very good at giving descriptions) had read the Lodi tale, no question as to which Penric story is being illustrated! Thanks for sharing.
The quote "Anything worth doing is worth doing well." might as well be a Japanese motto. I'm not surprised, in my time living there I've learned that it's a point of pride for them to always doing things very meticulously, from nuclear physicist to construction site traffic guard. Thanks for sharing!
