I often talk about time management, focus, and productivity. Then there are days when time slips away, tasks pile up, and by the end of the day there is that feeling of having done a lot, without really knowing what.
The truth is simple, and also a bit uncomfortable: until we actually observe how we really use our time, we are just making assumptions.
So here is a practical exercise for you, far more effective than a thousand good intentions.
I challenge you to set an alarm on your phone that goes off every 15 minutes. For at least one hour, even better if for two.
Every time you hear the alarm, pause for a moment and write down what you did in the previous fifteen minutes. No judgments or complaints, just reality.
For example: Focused work Distraction Social media Messages Waiting Thoughts Real or fake breaks
This is the only real way to understand how you use your time, and to discover where it goes without you even noticing.
If you feel like trying it tomorrow, let me know what you discover. Sometimes fifteen minutes of awareness are enough to change an entire day.
