I have a ridiculous amount of piles of books near the bedside ...I dip in to a lot of different literature (mostly Christian devotional etc)

Welcome, Karen and Ian!Ian, I totally get that. My to-be-read piles are all overflowing and spreading beyond their limits. But at least I won't run out of reading options!
For the 34 books I read this month, they were only books I own, library books or Kindle Unlimited (KU) books. However, not all were planned at the start of the month. Next month I plan to focus on only my planned books. Here's how I finished the month:Here are my goals:
Books own: 10
Library books: 15
KU books: 18
Progress as of Jan 31:
Books own: 3
Library books: 23
KU books: 8

Let's encourage each other to tackle those TBRs and refrain from purchasing as many books unless we're going to read them within a couple of months.
What are your reading and purchasing goals for this month?
Let's keep each other accountable, but let's not feel too bad if we stumble along the way. This is Buyer's Therapy. We're not going to master it right away, so let's be patient with ourselves and each other.
Won't it be fun to see those stacks disappear?
