Omg! Thank you for putting the words to what I want to say about this book. I so badly wanted there to be something redeeming about it that I forced myself to read all of it. I too enjoyed The Seer but the rest was excruciating. The graphic sex scenes (they continue in the 3rd book) weren't just off-putting but IMO, and affront to The Magdalene. When I write my own review it will say: "how to regurgitate every spiritual lesson you learned elsewhere and force it into a pornographic novel."
