Thank you. I chose the term 'Indian' because in the time setting of the novel that was what we were known as. And yes. I am an intergenerational survivor. My gramma, mom, aunties uncles and cousins all were taken.

I suspected that was the case. I'm so sorry your family had to live through that and I hope meaningful actions come soon for reconciliation. Thank you for putting this book out there for us. It's a treasure!
