Hi Catherine

Seeking ARC/PDF readers and early reviews for my soon-to-be released novel, SHIBBY MAGEE. (Women's Fiction). Please send your email address to carrie.kabak.write@gmail.com if you're interested, and I'd be honored!

www.carriekabak.com

SUMMARY:

A character-driven, Irish-set story laced with wit, heartbreak, and redemption.

When their mother disappears after announcing she's a Traveller—born a member of a nomadic ethnic minority—Shibby and her twin sister, Dorah, are abandoned to a family already cracking at the seams. Under the iron rule of their viciously prejudiced grandmother and the indifference of their emotionally absent father, the two girls grow up on opposite tracks: Dorah, arrogant and bold; Shibby, bruised and quietly resilient.

As Shibby stumbles into adulthood, she ricochets through men who either abuse or dump her. She finds fleeting stability in the fast-paced chaos of a restaurant kitchen—but a question gnaws at her: is her future in the rooted life of the settled or on the open road to God only knows where? With the fierce support of a chosen few—Alice Duffy, housekeeper turned surrogate mother; Moochie de Barra, an affectionate stand-in for her apathetic father; and Kitty Dooley, a Traveller whose loyalty never wavers—Shibby begins to uncover hard truths about identity, family, and what it truly means to belong.

Echoing the tones of the TV series, Fleabag, Shibby Magee is wry and beautifully irreverent while reflecting the sharp, dark dynamics of The Banshees of Inisherin. The novel will appeal to fans of Donal Ryan’s All We Shall Know, Jeanine Cummins’ The Outside Boy, and Rebecca Hardiman’s The Good Eggs.

Adam Koss Hello Bracha,

Thank you for offering to review ARCs. I’m very interested.

Title: Capybaras: Guardians of the Jungle
Genre: Children’s Adventure / Eco-Fantasy
Themes: friendship, nature, jungle magic, protecting the Earth
Length: illustrated short novel
Audience: children 8–12 / family reading

It is an illustrated story, so a printed copy works perfectly.

If you are still accepting review copies, I would be happy to send a paperback ARC to Canada.
Please let me know the mailing details.

I’m looking for an honest review on Goodreads and Amazon. No pressure on rating.

Best regards,
Adam Koss
