Thank you, Frank, for a wonderful review. I was eager not to paint men as the sole baddies in abuse and coercive behaviour, so I'm glad that point came through. And thank you once more for stepping up to beta read.
I agree with everything you say in your review, Frank. I enjoyed The Thief of Freedom very much too,

My pleasure. I ought to have pointed out that it was a couple of men who helped her expose the guard!
