The Chanticleer Hemingway Award? > Likes and Comments

My novella, The Falklands Engagement, is now a finalist in The 2025 Chanticleer Hemingway Award. When I was informed, as A British author, I quickly researched the award and found it does carry a little weight in the USA, but wondered what it means to a readership in the UK - 100% of my sales and KU page reads have been in the UK for the month of January. I should be shouting out loud about it, but fear my announcement will fall on deaf ears in the UK :)

Congratulations! I have heard about the Hemingway Award but don't know much about it. Not in the UK so I can't answer your core question. I imagine your subject matter might be a ticklish subject in the UK.

Thank you. I hope it's not too ticklish. 45th aniversary of the Falklands war next year. I'm in discussion with two radio drama producers, so hopefully I'll have more news soon. :)
