What a small world it is! My husband was raised just north of Wiarton. I belong to a readers advisory group and one of the women has often given support such as car rides to the very vulnerable person in the story. Our family lived between the crime location and the telephone that was used following the incident. But I had never heard of it until I read Brian’s book. I heard him speak a year or so ago and he is an excellent speaker. I wish this book might be considered for Canada Reads.

I hesitate to mention much about the killing itself, but fingers pointed to many! Was interesting to note the limited forensic resources at the time. I couldn't stop thinking if this situation occurred in present day would the outcome be different?
Great book to get your pondering, who, who, who!
