Interesting use of juxtaposition in this review - Camus (love), Palahniuk (like), yet near opposites in voice. Not to say that this cannot work, remember 'The Odd Couple'? I come across this, would definitely read it!
Yeah, the voice really sits somewhere in between those two. Camus: deadpan. Palahniuk: 90s ironic. But both hit on the same themes of absurdity and meaninglessness, though from different angles.
