Also, I’m happy you noticed the change in style. Book one had to be a bit more fragmented (at least in my head) because of what sits at the center of it. With this one, it felt more right to build it in a more “classic” way and let things breathe a little more.

And I’m very relieved the edge-of-your-seat zombie chaos still delivered.

I loved watching TWD, but have never read any zombie apocalypse books. Perhaps I’ll have to give this series a try when I’m looking to mix things up. Thanks for your great review, Chris!
