Micke Petersson Hi everyone,
I joined this group because I love honest, raw life stories, and I wanted to briefly introduce my own memoir.
My name is Micke Petersson, and I am a male survivor of covert narcissistic abuse. For not so many years I stayed in a relationship that looked loving and stable from the outside, but quietly broke me down on the inside.
My book “Behind the Mask – Surviving a Covert Female Narcissist” is my personal story about:
- how gaslighting slowly changed what I believed was true
- how constant criticism and silent treatment made me doubt my own worth
- how hard it was to leave when I still felt responsible for her emotions
- how shame and stigma can be stronger when you are a man in this position

I wrote this memoir to:
- give language to experiences many survivors struggle to explain
- show that emotional and psychological abuse can be subtle, hidden and confusing
- let readers who have been through similar relationships feel seen and less alone
If you enjoy memoirs that deal with trauma, mental health and recovery, this might be of interest.

For readers who, after the story, want more practical tools, I’ve also created a separate workbook on narcissistic abuse recovery, but the heart of my work is this memoir.

I’d love to hear from you:
- Do you read memoirs about abusive relationships or narcissistic partners?
- What makes a memoir in this area feel “real” and meaningful to you?

Thanks for reading and for all the recommendations in this group.

Best,

Micke Petersson

Karl Smith Since your ex inspired you to write this book, what portion of your profits from this book will you be giving her?
