Hi everyone, and thank you for having an Author’s Corner where we can share our work. My name is Micke Petersson, and I write about narcissistic abuse and recovery. Alongside my memoir about surviving a covert female narcissist, I’ve created a workbook for survivors who want something more practical and structured.
The book is called “Narcissistic Abuse: A Workbook for Survivors” and it is designed to be a hands‑on companion in your healing process.
Inside the workbook, you’ll find: - short, simple explanations of common abuse tactics (gaslighting, love bombing, intermittent reinforcement, silent treatment, etc.) - checklists and reflection prompts to help you spot patterns in your own story - exercises for setting and protecting your boundaries - practical guidance on No Contact and Grey Rock - journaling pages where you can process emotions and track your progress The workbook can be used if you are: - still in the relationship and trying to understand what is happening - in the process of leaving and feeling scared, confused, or torn - already out, but still struggling with triggers, self‑doubt, shame, or trauma responses You can use it on your own, together with a therapist, or as part of a support group. It is written in plain language, with the goal of giving you clarity, validation, and small doable steps forward.
If you like reading personal stories, you might also be interested in my memoir “Behind the Mask – Surviving a Covert Female Narcissist”, which shows the lived reality behind many of the patterns I describe in the workbook.
I’m happy to answer questions like: - How to recognize covert narcissistic abuse in everyday situations - How to use a workbook like this without feeling overwhelmed - What helped me most in my own recovery journey If this sounds relevant to you, I’d love to know:
- Would you be interested in using a workbook like this in your own healing? - What kind of exercises or support do you feel is missing in most books on this topic?
