Thank you, Jayme! 🌸
I’ve only gotten 100 pages in, but I had put it down due to the pacing. I need to go back and finish it. Always appreciate your honest reviews, Jayme 💙

It is slower and needs some patience. I hope you like it if you get back to it, Nikki.
Not Jayme but I hope the comment applies to me too. 😇😉
Wonderful review, Sri! 💖 Good forensic content in books makes me happy as well, one reason I like police procedurals. Too bad this wasn't as impressive as the first book but it sounds like a fun read nonetheless. Hope the third book goes even better!

Thank you, Rosh. 💝 Yeah, I love forensic content. It was one of my career ambitions for a while, lol.
I hope so too!
The title reminds me of the 2006 movie with the same name. Glad it was a good sequel, even though the original suited you better. Interesting that you wanted to be a forensic expert. You certainly have an eye for detail. Good review, Srivalli.

Thank you, Thibault! :) My choices swung a wide arc from archeology to astronomy to forensic and PI. 😂
Great review Srivalli, I feel exactly the same. I wanted more from the other characters and I also didn't feel the same amount of tension. I hope the third will have a bit more of a quicker pace!

Thank you, Dorie. 🌸 I hope so too! There is such scope for development!
Super review, Sri! I like forensic reads myself, currently my daughters field of study, too, so I might have to check out this series.
