LOL. When my book club discussed this, I asked at the liquor store for canned gin and tonics so that we could talk about them instead as we laughed about this book. Settled for some kind of canned margarita, which is an all-around apt metaphor for reading that book. Perfect review.
I was already pretty sure that I didn't want to read this book but your review clinches it, Clifford. It also made me laugh out loud. Thank you.
I read it during yesterday's snow day -- and found it pretty compelling -- until about mid-way...then I found it a bit tiresome.
