i was exactly thinking about Althea's character arc when Lice said confidently she could sail. like no girl, you just have a romanticized version of sailing
Person I've never met before, I love you for this post. I cackled every time you said Lice, because that's exactly what she is. I spent the whole book hoping Charlotte would smother her. And the only character who was truly persecuted was Charlotte. She deserves happiness. At this point I'm on page 153 and if I wasn't reading this with my cousin I would've put it down because Lice's griping makes me want to punch her. Anyway, thank you. I enjoyed your review a hundred times more than the book. 5/5 stars for you.

You’ve perfectly voiced every thought I had about this book. And I loved After the Forest! Wth happened? Ghost writer??
Sasha, your review is 3231 words long. That's around the length of one of my shorter chapters. I hope you’re not a writer as well as a reader/reviewer, because if you are that’s a lot of words – and time - you’ve wasted hating on me and my book.
