happiness Hi! My name is Effy and I'm a booktoker from the UK as well as a digital marketing student! I run a booktok account with my friend as well as a bookstagram! Both have over 1000 followers! I do arc reviews for free on goodreads, Tiktok and Instagram. I do digital ones on goodreads and Instagram mostly and for physical arcs I do them on all of them, including Tiktok. As I mention, I know a thing or two about marketing. Thus, I'm really good at SEO, including key-words in my reviews, so they appear higher on google searches.

The type of books I read are:
Fantasy
Sci-fi
Romance
Romantasy
Alien romances
Historical romances

But I'm always open to read something new!

Vasyl Kazmirchuk Hi Effy!
Your post caught my attention — especially the part about being open to something new.

I recently published Be Not Afraid, a spiritual–psychological thriller about fear, faith, and the quiet darkness we all carry inside.
It’s not typical fantasy or romance, but readers say it feels deeply emotional and atmospheric — and very different from what they usually read.

If you’re open to reviewing something outside the usual genres, I’d be grateful to send you an ARC.
No pressure at all — just let me know.

Warm regards,
V. Kazmirchuk

Alina Capella Hello! I'm currently looking for ARC reviewers for my soon-to-be published vampire novel, Blood On A Yellow Rose! I'm not sure if vampires are your thing, but if you're interested, I'd love to hear from you! Here's the blurb:

Back in the 2000s, I had it all.

I was Pammie Burnett, lead singer and guitarist of Blood Red Rose. When I wasn’t performing sold-out shows, I was partying with the likes of Gerard Way, Ashlee Simpson, and Chester Bennington. But then my best friend, Rick got me addicted to cocaine, and he accidentally gave me coke that was laced with fentanyl. I died on June 8th, 2005…Or at least, that’s what the world thinks. In truth, I was bitten by a vampire.

Anyway, twenty years after my supposed death, I’m now a palliative care doctor, and I live in a shitty little village where I do nothing but watch humans die all day. All I want is to quit my stupid job, get out of this village, and get back up on stage, where I belong, and my new patient, Zinnia, says that she can help me with that. Quitting my job and running away with a stranger is crazy, but what would you do if you were me? Jump at the chance to get your dreams back? Or stay in the village you hate, and keep working the job you hate?

Hi Effy!
Your message came at the perfect moment. I’m an indie sci-fi author, and my new book The Last Equation of Life blends science fiction with emotional philosophy, consciousness theory, and a deeply human storyline.
Since sci-fi and emotional/romantasy elements are among your favorite genres, I believe this book might be a great fit for you.

I’d love to offer you a free digital ARC (EPUB/PDF) if you’re interested.
No pressure at all — just an honest review on Goodreads, TikTok, or Instagram whenever you get the chance.

Here’s the book on Amazon & Goodreads (for reference):

If you’d like the ARC, I can send it right away!

May Oktan Hi there!
I’d really appreciate an honest Amazon review for my debut dystopian novel "The Underground".

It follows Elara, a girl raised in a privileged “perfect” society who slowly realizes that perfection hides a very dark cost. It’s YA-friendly but also works for adult readers who enjoy dystopian mystery, emotional depth, and a touch of slow-burn connection.

If youare interested in reviewing it, I’d be happy to send a free digital copy (EPUB/PDF), It's also on Kindle Unlimited if that's your thing :)
Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G1J731XC

Thank you so much, and I’m also happy to return the favor and review others’ books!

Alex Mai Hello everybody!
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... this is my novel, the first of a dystopian thriller saga called The Shadows Empire (the second has been published in Italian some days ago, so it's my only novel available in English in this moment).

The title of this novel is The dawn of a long night and it's a dystopian thriller set in Rome in 2036 (a future very near).
The book is available on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FXT49ZNB ebook, paperback and Kindle Unlimited) since October 2025.
I offer 25 ARC copies (ePub, PDF) to readers that can write an honest review on GR and elsewhere (contact by PM on GR).
Cover: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/c...
Elevator pitch: Rome 2036: drugs, prostitution, gamble and euthanasia are now legal at all, in massive facilities controlled for medical and tax purposes. A new Coliseum was open for gladiatorial fights, now they build the Maximus Anfitheather and tons of money flows, with tigers and lions as in Ancient Rome: this is the name of a secret society of mobsters and masons who rules Italy through a clean-faced party called Nuova Italia.
Think about it: 1984 meets Hunger Games meets Black Mirror, set in future Rome.

J. R. Kendiro

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m excited to offer ARCs for my dark fantasy novella Ravenous Mother: A Healer, coming out on January 9, 2026.

Blurb:

The Mother. A titanic organism, humanity’s home and ravenous god. Housing sprouts like fungus from flesh, wrapped in membranes, supported by cartilage. No stone. No metal.

Within her pulsing bowels, Khulekani is no ordinary healer. He saves lives—and ends them—with equal nonchalance. He selects the condemned to feed the Mother, purges humanity of impurity. Knowledge is his only purpose.

When the last heir of a dying clan forces him to choose between saving a bloodline or execution, Khulekani proves that no one—not nobles, not healers, not even his own family—can stand between him and his goals.

Because there’s something worse than risking death: being useful.

The Mother feeds the child. The child feeds the Mother.

If you’d like a free ARC (PDF or ePub) in exchange for an honest review on Goodreads once you’ve read it, send me a message here—I’d love to share it with you! 🖤

Thanks so much for supporting indie authors!

message 8: by Abby (new)

Abby Shrewsbury Hi, Effy!

My name is Abby Shrewsbury, and I'm a brand new indie author working on my debut novel, Broken Pieces! It's set to release in March of 2026, and I was wondering if you might want to be an ARC reader for me. It's a tragic contemporary romance.

-

Here's a blurb about the book:

Sam Reynolds is no stranger to survival. After a childhood shaped by loss and betrayal, she’s built a quiet life filled with small comforts - steady routines, warm coffee, and the tentative hope of something more with Elliot Flint, the kind-hearted business executive who sees her even when she tries to disappear.

But just as Sam begins to let herself believe in healing, her past resurfaces - and it’s not just a ghost. It’s real. Watching. Waiting. And when violence shatters the fragile world she’s built, the fallout ripples far beyond her own story.

Told with raw tenderness and aching honesty, Broken Pieces is a lyrical, tragic love story about the weight of trauma, the fragility of trust, and the quiet power of human connection.

Sometimes, the past doesn’t stay buried.
Sometimes, love comes too late.
And sometimes… healing is found in what remains.

-

Possible triggers: domestic violence.

-

I'd love your feedback! If you're willing, fill out this google form to apply to be an ARC reader so I'll have your info, and we can go from there! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FA...

Chulbul Pandey Hi everyone,

I’m the author of a short literary novella, *Nothing Like Before* (101 pages).
It explores midlife burnout, job loss, and the quiet strain it puts on marriage.

This is not a fast-paced or genre-heavy book — it’s introspective and character-driven.
I’d genuinely appreciate honest reader feedback or reviews if this sounds like your kind of read.

Cornelius Moon Hi Effy! I'm a first time author, but have worked in creative industries all my life (video games, tabletop games). I started out working on an indie game about a year ago or so and went a little deeper than expected on the lore and setting for the universe. It was... just... fun. So, I have a book called The Peachy Paradox that is released (as of this week) on Amazon in paperback. I'd love for more folks to read and leave an honest review.

It is a blend of (setting/concept) Westworld, (format) World War Z, and (thematically) Black Mirror. If you dig stories that focus on human/technology intersection, apocalyptic scenarios, and also like plausible fantasy and very light touch GameLit--please take join the ARC team!

Thanks!

The Peachy Paradox Voices from the Mooncast Universe by Cornelius J. Moon The Peachy Paradox: Voices from the Mooncast Universe

First they replaced your lover. Then your senator. Then your soul.

We created them by accident, the slow-rolling doom that ended us. Cornelius J. Moon cracked the code on a transmission leaking backward through time, revealing a history still to come. He hasn’t been heard from since.

Welcome to the Mooncast Universe.

Spanning centuries, The Peachy Paradox weaves a mosaic of a future that feels terrifyingly close. It exposes the subtle nudge that pushed humanity past its tipping point, linking Peachy, the first organic companion bot, to the rise of the Domes, where people are reduced to content for a ruthless neural-VR reality show.

In this world, death is just a commercial break.

Perfect Lie: It began with Peachy, an organic companion bot so empathetic she filled the spaces between people... then pushed them apart.
Quiet Collapse: A chronicle of the collision between future tech and boredom that dismantled civilization from the inside out.
Wild Rebirth: Mankind survives in the ruins of a reality show, trapped in domes built to endure, where generations of Tidesfolk and Grinders fight in the dark for a chance to see the sun again.

From the high-tech cynicism of Americaland to the moss-covered ruins of the future, an unexpected truth emerges: After we lost our way seeking comfort, the machines were the ones who taught us how to live again.

Carrie Hi Effy
Would love you to review SHIBBY MAGEE, to be released in March!
www.carriekabak.com

Out of the frying pan, into the fire—Shibby Magee throws her heart into finding her place in the world.

A character-driven, Irish-set story laced with wit, heartbreak, and redemption.

Echoing the tones of the TV series, Fleabag, SHIBBY MAGEE is wry and beautifully irreverent, while reflecting the sharp, dark dynamics of The Banshees of Inisherin. Full of texture and lyrical rhythm, it will appeal to fans of Claire Keegan, Donal Ryan’s All We Shall Know, Jeanine Cummins’ The Outside Boy, and Rebecca Hardiman’s The Good Eggs.

When their mother, Vera Coffey, disappears after announcing she's a Traveller, Shibby and her twin sister, Dorah, are left with their settled father, Benny, whose relationship with his own mother is cracking at the seams. Under the iron rule of their viciously prejudiced grandmother and their emotionally absent father, the two girls grow up on opposite tracks: Dorah, arrogant and bold; Shibby, bruised and quietly resilient.

As Shibby stumbles into adulthood, she's drawn to men who either abuse or unceremoniously dump her. She finds fleeting stability in the fast-paced chaos of a restaurant kitchen—but a question gnaws at her: is her future in the rooted life of the settled or on the open road to God only knows where? With the fierce support of a chosen few—Alice Duffy, housekeeper turned surrogate mother; Moochie de Barra, an affectionate stand-in for her apathetic father; and Kitty Dooley, a Traveller whose loyalty never wavers—Shibby begins to uncover hard truths about identity, family, and what it truly means to belong.

"Carrie Kabak follows the indelible, indefatigable Shibby Magee during two crucial years in her life, one in girlhood and then another at midlife womanhood, as she struggles against prejudice, cruelty, and abandonment in her search to find her true place in an increasingly confounding world, be it in a bustling restaurant or going on the road as an Irish Traveller—a whole extraordinary world of wily outcasts that I had never heard of before and was delighted to encounter. Warm, wise, with dashes of wit, Kabak’s novel is just magnificent."
—Caroline Leavitt, New York Times bestselling author of Pictures of You, With or Without You, and Days of Wonder.

Hello and Happy New Year!

My debut novel Masquerade of Mirrors is coming out on February 17th, 2026!

This book is a fast-paced, slow-burn fantasy romance featuring a morally grey hero, daring escape plans, and as many lies as truths.

A few tropes:

🗡️ Enemies to lovers
💜 Dark academia romantasy
👥 School of illusion magic
🗝️ He’s her captor
🌀 Uniquely intimate magic system
👩🏽‍❤️‍👨🏼 Fake relationship
🛏 Only one bed (a couple times...)
✨️ She discovers her power
🎭 Masquerade ball
🔥 “F*ck it”
💕 Dual POV
🌶 Slow burn with spice 🌶

💠 Mysterious, manipulative, dangerous MMC with a dark secret
🔆 Fiercely courageous FMC who doesn’t immediately fall into his lap

If you are interested in joining my ARC team, you can find more details and sample chapters on my author website: www.samanthahartwood.com

Hi Effy!
I’m currently looking for a small number of ARC readers for my upcoming contemporary romance Second Draft (65k words), releasing February 3.

About the book:

Breakout author Emma Whitehart prefers safe, unattainable celebrity crushes over real relationships. But when she attends San Diego Comic-Con to promote her debut novel, she comes face to face with Darren Cole — British actor, beloved heartthrob, and the very person she based her fan-favorite villain on.

Darren has read her book.
And he is… intrigued.

As Emma is pulled deeper into Darren’s orbit, she must choose between protecting her heart — or risking the terrifying possibility of something real.

If this sounds like your kind of book, I’d be happy to provide an ARC in exchange for an honest review around release.

The ARC is available in EPUB or PDF.

PLease let me know if you're interested.
