J.C. Plummer I agree 100%! Volume 1 was 5-stars for me, and volume 2 was 1-star (I was also very tempted to DNF). That's how I ended up with 3-stars. I bought the audiobook on deep discount a while back, but I will probably only listen to volume 1.

I do not say it often but I would totally request a refund, however I'm glad the audiobook was included in the audible membership so no credit or money needed. It's sad that Volume 2 is such a downhill.
I still wonder why Elizabeth from Volume 1 was so altered. Making Darcy feel guilty for everything even if it was her fault, the only selfless thing she did was at the end helping Darcy and Georgiana, otherwise extremely selfish.

I looked back on my notes for the book, and in addition to selfishness, I noted: "Elizabeth was also way too perfect. She always knew exactly what to say in difficult situations and provided counsel to others that were way beyond her age."
