I'm looking for a few free betas for four Urban Fantasy New Adult novellas at around 20K each (I offer a gift in December/January to all betas who have read in the year for me). Books are from my Angels and Avalon series, and a spin off urban/paranormal PI mini-series. I ask betas to return with comments within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving the manuscript.

The first three books are arranged with the first part as a past life and the second as a present day urban fantasy. The last two books in the series and short story will be all present day focused. The mini-series novellas will be focused on present day urban fantasy and possibly some flashback episodes later in the series.

One novella is available right away, it is called Innocence and Ire. The book blurb is: They want to release a monster. The day the fire came turned Morgana into a murderer. That past far behind her, Morgana Lockwood is now a successful young woman, living another life as the owner of a small jewellery store chain that makes beautiful accessories blessed with magic. But two of her sisters have returned, wings and all, unchanged since Avalon. With the lives of her employees threatened, she has no choice. Morgana will have to show them where Lucifer is locked away.


The other four will be available one in each September, October and Nov/Dec or so. There are potential for continued beta reading next year, if you are interested as well.

While the story is a current day treasure hunt, it is based on the real-life story of Captain William Kidd, who hid his treasure somewhere along the east coast of the United States. He attempted to buy his way from the gallows by revealing the hiding place. But he was hung for piracy in 1701, never revealing the location of his vast treasure.

Synopsis:
When Mykenna meets Zander, she can’t help but laugh at his claim to have the treasure map of the notorious Captain William Kid. But when they discover Kidd’s ties to the oldest Inn in southern Maine and begin to establish proof that the map is authentic, they are thrust into to the wildest adventure of their lifetime. Mykenna and Zander will have to form an extraordinary bond, overcome their deepest fears, and unravel an array of mind-boggling clues to solve the 320-year-old mystery.

Hi! I'm Santi, I'm a Game Designer working on a language learning video game focused on engaging storytelling and characters. We believe language is best learned not through study and repetition but through curiosity and fun, and so we aim to make original and interesting stories aimed at young adults and older audiences.

We have a free-form type mechanic, you can say or do whatever you want, to which the world and NPCs (should) respond accordingly. So we thought, who could be the protagonist of a game in which you ask questions back and forth? The answer was a Private Investigator. Assume the role of Penelope Ingram P.I., and solve cases that involve family feuds, deceit, plotting, intrigue, and of course, romance!

We're looking for beta readers for Penny's first case while we work on implementation, so we can have a better take on what works and what doesn't storywise.

Hello, everyone, my name is Christopher Kelly. I'm a first time author that's just written and published a book called "No Turning Back" and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in taking a look at my book and leaving reviews for it, please?

"No Turning Back" is an action adventure/fantasy story about a young man named Peter James who is very keen and eager to become a successful story writer until he bumps into a young woman named Jenny Wallis who is on the run from three mysterious men, two of them are trained hitmen while the other, who calls himself Master Ruthless, is a tall figure who possesses magical but dangerous powers.

In Jenny's possession, she holds a piece of paper with a spell written on it which would destroy Master Ruthless once and for all but the spell is incomplete and when she tells Peter about her situation he refuses to believe her until much later when he sees Jenny being confronted by her pursuers with his own eyes, resulting in Peter going on the run himself while Jenny is taken hostage by Master Ruthless.

Now on the run, Peter, who enlists help from his friend Nick Turner, are chased all over the town of Kingfisher Grove by Master Ruthless' henchmen, calling themselves Gunner and Bomber, as both Peter and Nick try to avoid capture and death while they try to complete the missing half of the spell in order to destroy Master Ruthless and save Jenny from imprisonment.
