Timothy Webber Death of a Cigarette: A Story of Survival, Memory, and Legacy by Timothy Webber and Milo Grey

A single unlit cigarette survives Omaha Beach and becomes the keeper of a family’s memory. Told through the eyes of that unlit cigarette, *Death of a Cigarette* is a story of courage in many forms: the spark that burns bright, the voice that steadies, and the choice to endure without flame.

This is my first published book so quite new to all of this. Its a unique pov, but I tried to keep it as historically accurate as possible with the exception of one event. Its not a blood and guts war book, its more lyrical and restrained. Its available on Kindle Unlimited also Hard Cover and Paperback. I have a few Audible promo codes still available for a free listen on Audible. Those are at https://audible-promo.deathofacigaret...

I just ask that you leave a review if you would please.

Jules Larimore The Muse of Freedom: a Cévenoles Sagas novel

In an age of state persecution, how far would you go to protect your faith, your identity, your freedom?

17th-century Languedoc, France, as authorities outlaw rights, and difference becomes dangerous, a man of unbreakable spirit, a mystic healer, and a hidden network of rebels search for freedom and light in the darkest of times.

This timely, epic adventure is based on a true story of resistance and divided loyalties, echoing our present times in a testament to the enduring human spirit that refuses to be silenced. In the shadows, communities defied the odds, guided by courage and solidarity, resisting the growing darkness of oppression with resilience, secrecy, and hope.

The Muse of Freedom by Jules Larimore is a historical fiction novel set in 17th-century France, following a young Huguenot nobleman, Jehan BonDurant, as he navigates religious persecution, discovers his family's secrets, and finds love and purpose while resisting oppression in the Cévennes mountains. Inspired by the true story of Jean Pierre Bondurant, the book is the first in The Cévenoles Sagas and blends historical events with elements of magic and folklore, focusing on themes of faith, freedom, and resistance against King Louis XIV's absolutist rule.

Key aspects of the book:

Setting: The Cévennes mountains in Languedoc, France, in 1695, during a time of intense persecution of Huguenots (French Protestants).

Protagonist: Jehan BonDurant, a young nobleman with a dangerous Huguenot legacy, who becomes an apothecary and joins a secret network of rebels.

Plot: Jehan's journey of self-discovery, his relationship with a mystic healer named Amelia Auvrey, and their fight for freedom against the King's forces, leading to choices between hiding, rebellion, or exile.

Genre: Historical fiction, metaphysical fiction, and family saga, with elements of romance and adventure.

Inspiration: Based on the true story of Jean Pierre Bondurant dit Cougoussac, blended with local lore.

Series: It is the first book in The Cévenoles Sagas.
