Well said. Absolutely right. Their mistakes just ruined the story. I have read all of his books too. This was disappointing.
Hello David and Gerry, I appreciate you for taking the time to comment on Silent Night. For anyone reading my comments, there will be a spoiler so just a heads up.
First, please note that the characters in Silent Night are ordinary Americans caught in an extraordinary catastrophic event. Like most people, and many readers, they were wholly unprepared for this surprise missile attack. But, now for the spoiler. Despite their failure to be experienced preppers, they managed to all stay alive despite the hostile environment they were thrust into, including a blizzard. They may not have your level of ‘“self-preservation” knowledge and perhaps they are stupid, but in the end, they came together as a family as Survivors.
