Kristina Kamaeva How is everyone? This group became so quiet.
By the end of the year, I plan to publish the third book in the Mireya series and a collection of short stories. But instead of working on these projects, I've taken on the Writober challenge and write silly poems with silly pictures.
You can check my "guilty pleasure" poem with hand drawn illustrations here:

Cheers!

Mathew Kellerman I've been swamped with design projects, which has taken all my creative energy this entire year. Buildings before books, I'm afraid. But I have an idea for a short story I want to write and submit to Beyond Ceaseless Skies, which is a lovely publication for those who haven't heard of it. Literary fantasy, which is what I write. No simple dragon quests, these, but insight into human nature.

Kristina, I love your poem. What a ride that became! And the artwork...no words.

Projects that bring money are always a priority! Good plan with the magazine. Haven't heard of them, but I will take a note.
I'm glad you liked my poem. Inktober is the only time I draw :)

P. Pherson Guilty Pleasure poem not what I was expecting. I loved the artwork. And who couldn't use a good rapture.

I have been trying to get my Book 2 out the door. But I am stuck in editing, and the cover artist has some changes to make, so...its not ready as yet.

But I got delayed due to complications of my cancer treatment recovery. I has knocked my off my horse for weeks now. I need to get back on it.

Mathew Kellerman Praying for your recovery, my good man!

P. Pherson Thanks all. I accept thoughts and prayers.

Kristina Kamaeva I've completed my Inktober and Writober challenge. I'm happy I don't have to draw more pictures 😂

Here is my Inktober poem: https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...

And I have one more: Three Dead Men and Girls

Happy Halloween!

P. Pherson I thought you pictures were just what was needed. Putting aside the content, its not so easy drawing the same character over and over. You did that very well.

Thank you! They were fun to draw :)

Martina Lopez After having a baby at the end of August I've had to force myself back into writing. Usually I like being creative. I've got a fancy dress party coming up for someone's birthday and I normally get enthusiastic about making the costumes. But I'm lacking energy right now :-D

message 12: by Mathew (new)

Mathew Kellerman Congratulations on your little bundle of joy! Children are such a blessing.

Costume maker, eh? Do you sew them, piece them together, do intricate make-up for folks? Tell me more.

message 13: by Martina (new)

Martina Lopez Thanks. It can be a combination of all, depending on the outfit. Costume maker does make me sound very skilled though :-D
