We only update covers on Kindle and Audible editions. For paperback and standard ebook you can add alternate cover editions.
It won't let me because the ISBN is the same.
Adding an alternate cover edition moves the ISBN to the new edition. You must be selecting the wrong option.
I can't see the option for creating an alternate cover edition anywhere.I've put new covers in as new editions, but it hasn't moved ISBNs over or anything.
It's the button with three dots on it near the top of the book page.
That only gives me the options to add new editions and combine editions, not add an alternate cover edition.
Ok, that last comment took me to the answer finally, thank you - I didn't know that different editions had different options there otherwise I would have found it immediately.Last question, then, if you don't mind -
Is there any way I can delete the "empty" editions I added with the new covers but no ISBN or ASIN?
I have just brought out new editions of my 5-part "Displacers" series with new covers in both paperback and ebook. ISBNs and ASINs have not changed. Could you add them please?
