Maribeth Ditmars offers hope and a beautiful journey of faith in God amidst great adversity, tribulation, and grief. Dancing in the Minefields gives inspiration to all those who have suffered through trials, tragedy, even the loss of a child, or to those that are familiar with drug and alcohol addiction. Yet, trauma came knocking on their door in the form of childhood cancer. With their world crumbling, both Maribeth and her husband fought hard as a team through the diagnosis of leukemia. As the Ditmars persevered through tragedy, Maribeth's journey of faith and finding God begins to unfold into a beautiful testimony of the faithfulness and love of God. She advocates and reveals the effectiveness of the 12 step recovery program that was also fundamental in her healing from the grief, and alcohol that captivated her mind and soul. Kingdom Christian Basic Training Workbook, The Basic Foundational Principles of the Christian Faith by Craig T. Feigh

There is a problem in our Churches today and it’s called, Biblical illiteracy!

According to a recent ABC poll, up to 94% of high school students stop attending church after graduating because of Biblical challenges and stagnation of their faith. Additionally, over 50% of all weekly churchgoers are not Christian! Christians are not mature in their faith because many professing Christians do not even know the basics of their faith.

According to the results of a survey conducted recently by LifeWay Research, over 3,000 participants were asked a set of 47 questions about foundational Christian beliefs. Most of the answers revealed a mishmash of heresy and confusion about Christianity’s most basic doctrines. It’s not just the departures from these historic doctrines that should concern us, but the contradictory answers. It shows that Americans in general, and evangelicals in particular, are clueless on basic Christian doctrine.

This is the basis for Christian Basic Training (CBT).

Every year professional athletes attend training camp to get back to the basics of their particular sport. Regardless of their previous successes, they review the fundamentals (hitting, fielding, base-running, blocking, tackling, special teams, etc.) of their profession to insure that they have a solid foundation in which to excel. Most games are won or lost because of a lapse in a basic skill. These are professional athletes making millions of dollars, yet they go back to the basics each and every year and before every game. They hone their skills to insure that they are foundationally sound, so that the game to them becomes second nature.

This is what God is asking each of us to do as well; get back to the basics of the Christian faith to be sure that we are Biblically sound. Most parents and churches are failing in this area!

Christian Author and Speaker, Craig T. Feigh, has compiled a list of the 42 most basic Christian foundational principles in an easy-to-understand “workbook” format that allows both the new and mature Christian the ability to understand and articulate the basics of the Christian faith.

Getting back to the basics and building a strong Biblical foundation helps us in many ways:

It helps us become closer to God and grow in our faith

It helps us Biblically resist the temptations from the devil and non-believers

It helps us to weather the storms of life

It helps us to faithfully share and defend our faith

It helps us to be assured of our salvation This is a must-read for anyone wanting to know the basic doctrines of the Christian faith and a must-haveChristian Basic Training Workbook, The Basic Foundational Principles of the Christian Faith for every Church Bible Study group.

Deanna Lilly I wanted to share my latest release, winner of the 2025 Chrislit award.
Brewing Love with the Bookworm by Deanna Lilly

She hides behind coffee beans and sisterly duty.
He hides behind paperbacks and quiet songs.
But time has a way of revealing everything.

Gwen runs a bustling café in Hickory Falls—and carries some of the town’s darkest secrets.
She’s undercover, keeping an eye on the new doctor, protecting her found family,
and pretending her heart’s not on the line.

Jake came to town for peace, purpose… maybe even a fresh start.
He didn’t expect the guarded barista next door.
She’s not ready for love.
He’s not afraid of her past.

When danger comes knocking, Gwen is reminded:
you can’t always judge a book by its cover.
And sometimes, the safest place… is in someone else’s arms.

Gwen must choose—risk her heart on the quiet man next door, or play it safe and walk away from her chance at true love.

Kingdom Women In Leadership Debunking Myths, Defending Callings by Dr. Eddie J. Fernandes

Can women lead, preach, teach, or pastor in the Christian Church?

This bold and unwavering book addresses one of the most contentious questions facing the modern Church: Should women be fully empowered to exercise all the leadership gifts that men are freely permitted to use? With refreshing candor, clarity, and his usual pastoral sensitivity, Dr. Eddie J. Fernandes guides readers on a journey that questions long-held traditions, challenges restrictive interpretations, and reaffirms the full dignity, worth, and calling of women in the Body of Christ.

Rooted in Scripture, shaped by thoughtful reflection, and lived out in the dynamic life of Riverside International Church in Cascais, Portugal—where women preach, teach, shepherd, and serve in every capacity—this book is a rallying cry to the Church to break free from the chains of patriarchy masquerading as Biblical truth.

Far from dismissing the Bible, the author dives into it, wrestling with the so-called “proof texts,” challenging distortions of headship and submission, and illuminating God’s original design for men and women to serve side by side as co-heirs of the Kingdom.

This book is not about arguments meant to divide the Body of Christ further; it is a prophetic call to action: to empower and release women into the fullness of their gifting, calling, and God-given authority in Christ’s Body. The mission is urgent. The harvest is vast. And the night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4). It is time for the daughters of Abraham to rise, proclaim the Word of God, take their rightful place in leadership, and share equally in the Missio Dei before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ (who affirmed women more than anyone else in history).

Kingdom Decoding Your Dreams What the Lord May Be Saying to You While You Sleep by Jennifer LeClaire

What is God saying to you in your dreams?

Decoding Your Dreams is a beginner’s guide to understanding the true source of our dreams, dream classifications, and even dream symbols. This book answers questions like:

Can we control our dreams?

I used to dream all the time. Why has my dream life suddenly ceased?

Should I pray for the gift of dream interpretation?

What does it mean if I see people in my dreams who have already passed away?

When do I share a dream I’ve received and when do I keep it to myself?

Where does déjà vu fit into the world of dreams?

Why should I pay attention to my children’s dreams?

There are dozens of mentions of dreams in the Bible. From Abraham to Joseph, from Daniel all the way to Pontius Pilot’s wife, God has communicated with His people through dreams throughout recorded history.

Why would God choose to speak to us while we sleep? Perhaps it’s because we are too distracted during the day to sit still long enough for Him to share the deep secrets of His heart.

Jennifer LeClaire is convinced God speaks to us in ways that are very personal. At times he may use pictures, memories, impressions, or even a still small voice.

Let Decoding Your Dreams help you embrace your Spirit-inspired dreams!

Kingdom Mrs. Job's Choice by Linda Jo Reed

Mrs. Job’s Choice: A Journey of Encouragement by Linda Jo Reed, as a multi-published author, speaks to women across the nation, giving hope and encouragement by blending the incredible journey of Job, with a twist – a focus on Job’s wife. Job’s wife experienced each phase of loss alongside her husband. As the author explains, Job’s wife was an unnamed woman in the Bible with a surprisingly short excerpt regarding her state of mind. The author poignantly looks at Scripture and asks herself how she might have felt, while admitting that each one of us may have felt similar feelings towards God. With that, she blends the details of Job’s story with insight from women’s personal testimonies of loss and tragedy.

What comes forth is a beautiful tapestry of God’s work throughout trauma and includes underlying steps that we are led to walk through. These are incredible steps that lead to the discovery of not only ourselves, but reveal God in the midst of great trials. The author has designed an important book for this time that relates the faith that can grow through grievous times of loss. There is hope ladies! One can learn to thrive and overcome.

Setting the stage during each tragedy Job faces, eventually Job’s wife tells her husband to curse God and die. Haven’t we all felt like that? Still, that leaves us wondering, did her faith stand? How does her choice to curse God and the complete disdain for her husband parallel with feelings one might have after destruction has occurred? Truly, this is an incredibly insightful read as author Linda Jo Reed takes readers into a delicate telling of those who “chose” to overcome, revealing God at work. At the end of each chapter are meditation and journal questions, ending in a heartfelt prayer that can help lead one back to a path of hope again, making this an interactive book.

With such chapters as: Loss and Disorientation, Stress and Abandonment, Repentance and Forgiveness, Acceptance and Compassion, Silence and Listening, and Believe and Trust, her book helps identify what to do with these feelings, and how to get back to belief and trust. There is comfort knowing that we are not alone in our sufferings.

Developed for individual or in group setting, this would make a great Women’s Bible study. This book comes highly recommended for those that have faced such grief, loss, and overwhelming despair and is a must-read for those believers (or unbelievers) that question God, find themselves angry at God and doubt His goodness. Additionally, this is also a timely and Sprit-led work for many in the Body of Christ that have suffered long and are looking for answers, solutions, and restoration.

I personally thank the author and the women for their stories in this magnificent book!

Mrs. Job's Choice
