Thank you for the chuckle and confirming my suspicion when after a day or two of friendship he recommended a book with his last name.
No worries. I've had some good author recommendations, that's why this one was so discouraging. But I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it. :)
Dear Maria, I am sorry you didn't like the book. You are my first negative reaction, as the other reviews on Amazon and Goodreads have been great. My aim was to create characters that elicited a strong dislike such as Roy Knox and then be vanquished by a strong female lead, Jane. For you this obviously did not hit the mark. I take all reviews seriously. Perhaps it is best though that went the follow up book comes out I will not recommend to you! Have a nice day Maria

@Mark I don’t see a problem with an author responding to reviews—if done respectfully, which, imo, you did. I’ll read your book. When I’m finished, I’ll give you my honest opinion.
