Robert Roberts Do we have any horror or crime readers here? Which genre do you prefer?

Ruth Oooooooh weeeee. I like both. I prefer crime. I like 1/2 of Stephen King. I like his crime stuff like Mr. Mercedes series, but not The Stand, It, etc. I do love The Shining and Pet Cemetery though.

Robert Roberts I only read horror if it is proposed as being true such as The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Same with true crime such as Helter Skelter.

Randall Moore I read a lot of crime, the late Elmore Leonard being my favorite. I liked horror more when I was younger. When I’m so much closer to death, stories like Final Destination are more like a preview of coming attractions than I’d like to experience.

Ruth lol Randall.

Ruth I love true crime. If I read a really scary fictional story, I want it to be something they could be real.

Robert Roberts I’m with you Randall, I’ve already got one leg in the grave.

Amanda Bhear I think I'll stick to my normal stuff. I'll let you guys have the creepy stuff. I can't watch or read any of that. I'd have nightmares for the rest of my life!
