I LOVE GOTHIC HORROR!!!
This sounds so interesting!! Will keep an eye out for your full thoughts but glad to see you enjoyed it love 💗💗
@DianaRose thank you Diana! It’s a murder mystery through a lens of an autistic boy. Loved the neurodivergent representation and how the author explored it through vivid imagery
@ashleymarie it definitely was! Like a fragment of imagination. Very atmospheric and true to the core of horror gore:)
Beautifully stated for something that sounds quite terrifying. I haven’t read much gothic horror, but I think I prefer it to the more gore-heavy styles since it tends to lean into psychological tension. Looking forward to your full review!
@Nancy thank you Nancy. I’m trying to get more into genre bending books, just because I love how creativity is explored. This was up my alley for sure. Can’t say it’s so much as psychological as you’d probably like it but it’s definitely within the horror galore. Will post my full review soon. I am so behind!
You worded that perfectly. I'm sure from what you've written that your review will incorporate different epithets and metaphors, in a way that I can't write (decided not to provide an excuse), and I can't wait to hear your thoughts. (I love well-incorporated words).
Love the way you wrote this. I can tell you are very talented in wording 🥹🤩
I will definitely have to befriend u
@Yun very much so Yun! It was original and I think she encapsulated a neurodivergent mindset perfectly well. Hope you end up loving it! 😊
