Ann (Noumena12) Tell us a little about yourself! Why you joined? What you hope to get our of this group

Ann (Noumena12) I'm Ann and I started this group because I set a goal for 2025 to read 12 cookbooks...1 a month. I was looking for others who enjoy reading cookbooks so I thought I would start this group since other similar groups appear to be dormant. I hope you will join me!

I am new to hosting a group so I have a lot to learn. I'd love your input and feedback. If you want to co-host with me, please let me know,. I wil do my best to keep up and keep this group active and relevant.

Maestra Hi, Ann! Thanks for starting this group. I followed the link in your comment on an Eat Your Books page about 2025 cooking resolutions.
I am also occasionally active on Hungry Onion; I recommend that site for more food/cookbook talk. We even have a "cookbook of the month" there, and you can view and post of any of the old threads. You might find some of the same books you plan to cook from.

Olivia Quinn Hi! Thanks for sharing the info about Hungry Onion—it sounds like a great resource for cookbook discussions! If you're also interested in learning more about more food, I recommend checking out Tangle Tales Blogs. It's a blog offering great insights on Food, relationships, and Creativity. Definitely worth a look! Happy cooking and exploring!

Derek Wexley Hi everyone!
My name is Derek, and I’m an author of Mediterranean-inspired cookbooks.
I love simple, healthy recipes that bring both flavor and balance to everyday life.
I joined this group to share ideas, discover new cookbooks, and connect with others who share my passion for cooking and reading about food.
Happy to be here!

Alison Keys Hi everyone! 👋
My name is Alison Keys, and I’m an author of Mediterranean-inspired cookbooks focused on wellness and simplicity.
I was born in Sicily, Italy — the heart of the Mediterranean, where food is more than nourishment; it’s a way of sharing life, love, and balance.
My work combines science-based nutrition with the warmth of traditional Mediterranean cooking — simple recipes that help people feel better, eat better, and live with joy.

I joined this group because I truly enjoy reading cookbooks as much as writing them. They’re full of stories, culture, and inspiration!
I’d love to share ideas, learn from your experiences, and talk about the connection between food and well-being.

Looking forward to meeting you all and discovering new favorite cookbooks together!
