Hello All.I grew up reading science fiction and still do - and I've had a lifelong love of science and technology. I enjoy time travel stories, but was often disappointed by the glib dismissal of basic physics or the "black box" approach to the technologies employed in time travel books and movies.
About 18 months ago I took a break from my professional life and did something I've always wanted to do - write a time travel tale. I contemplated the science and technology that might be required to make time travel work. I also set myself the challenge of writing a story that postulates a deterministic universe (the past and future cannot be changed) where nobody has free will.
