I think the rest of your review went missing, James! But thank you SO much for the reviews!
Yes it’s possible that some is missing. I read a lot on my phone, because it’s always with me and easy to use. I also like to post a review as soon as possible. I think that best brings out how I’m feeling about the book. Sure if I waited I might have more insight, but I think I could lose enthusiasm by doing that.
My problem is that writing the review on the Kindle phone app is hazardous. I can’t leave the app to check something else, as that eliminates everything I started. So then if I try and reconstruct it, some thoughts get lost.
My solution is to stop reading before the end, I can finish the book reading in the phase where you can move quickly through the book. Then write in iPhone notes and copy it. Then go back to Kindle and finish the book in the standard way. That pops up the review page and I can post it. I wish the Kindle app allowed me to save and edit the review, but I haven’t found a way to do that.
So a long story to say that sometimes I lose things and when it’s a middle volume when I’m ready to review the last volume, I don’t try and reconstruct the review.
Thanks for the kind comments. I enjoy writing reviews, because I enjoy reading good work.
