Luís Russian literature it's a lack I'll try to improve. Great review, at last!

Well, have you tried their greatest novel, Anna Karenina? Although I prefer Gogol's Dead Souls--hilarious, the worst titled comic novel. And Pushkin imitated Byrown, but is arguably better, a cross with Wordsworth. My own Parodies Lost grows partly out of Pushkin, qhich I have read in Russian, maybe a fifth. A fifth of Pushkin, not of Vodka. Avoid that, which hurts brain synapses. Really--I had pre-med biology in college.
