Gavin, Wish I could messge you, about our many shared books. Thanks for liking my review of Goethe's Italian trip. I spent many March and Aprils in Italy, where my daughter has lived 26 years in Milano, I writing on Giordano Bruno, two books. Spoke on one at Harvard Center for Astrophysics, my 23 min talk linked on my website: Google "Giordano Bruno Harvard Video." --though I am a Shakespearean.
Doris, Thanks for liking my review. Wish I could see our books in common, even message you about your relation to Naples. You can see my two books on Giordano Bruno here: Worlds of Giordano Bruno, and Candelaio-- his play. My version of his commedia was performed, stage reading, at the Bridewell Theatre, London. Here's a couple scenes from it on Youtube: "Candelaio Final Edit"
