Wonderful review, Kat! ❤️ Oh, if this is your first Backman work, then you are in for a treat, dear friend! He is an amazing writer who totally puts us into his story. I'm so happy that you liked your first tryst with his writing. I also agree that he isn't at his best when he's trying to be funny. :D

Thanks, Rosh! I love when I know a new-to-me author has a huge backlist to look forward to. Yes, my only complaint is that the humor is a little forced at times. When it hits, it hits, but when it doesn't it's a little awkward! lol 💗

Backman is one of my favorites. I am glad you found this book to be stellar. This wasn’t as emotional as some of his other books but I still greatly enjoyed it. 💌

Oh I hear Fredrik Backman always gets right to the heart! Like with his famous Ove book. Have never read the man yet, but very much looking forward to it, soon. Wonderful review Kat! Fartless storytelling doesn't sound such a fussy demand lol <3
