Greg Dawson Hello Samia! I am Greg Dawson, co-author of Alias Anna. Zhanna was my mother. Thank you so much for your very kind words about the book and for recommending it to teachers. I have one semantic quibble: You say the book is "historical fiction....rooted in historical accuracy." Alias Anna is not a novel, it is non-fiction. Not "rooted" in accuracy but entirely true to the facts.

Ruth Quiroa Upon seeing your review, Samia, I remember that I read this book very quickly shortly after it was published and thought it was historical fiction. I double-checked, and it appears to be listed as a biography. Since I do not remember the story very well, what do you think about this? Is it historical fiction or a nonfiction biography?
