I’ve been on the fence about reading this one

everyone says this author's books are so good but her plots just never sound interesting to me :(

i thought the same about Magnolia Parks but then those books became some of my favorites of all time! the conditions of will wasn't really up my alley though :/ she's hit or miss as an author for people

Yeah, I wanted to read this one, but from what I’ve heard, it’s very blasphemous towards Christianity so I’ll be skipping out on this one. So sorry you didn’t enjoy it. ☹️

yeaaaaaaaah i wanted to look past that because i don't mind a main character who doesn't have the same beliefs as myself. i like to learn about other ways of thinking and worldviews, but the way it was presented was not tasteful. it was indeed pretty judgmental and hateful towards many Christians. best to skip this one <3

@chloé Yeah, I definitely agree. It’s super healthy to learn about different mindsets and perspectives
on things in the world, but I don’t want to read about judgment or hatefulness towards a religion that I am proud of. No hate towards different religions and it is interesting reading about different people. This review was amazing, (as always), and I learned everything I need to know and have decided this one isn’t for me. Happy reading. 😊

i don't blame you for removing it <3 i absolutely have empathy for people who were hurt because of a religion, but i don't appreciate generalizations that imply all "American Christians" are bad people. it just rubbed me the wrong way. thank you <3

the typos were CRAZY. my favorite was “oliver makes a nose at the back of his throat”

After I saw the cover I knew I wasn't going to pick this one up. Wish she would focus on writing the next Daisy Haites book instead of these side quests 😭
