I'm unable to edit my own author profile; I wanted to fix an extra space between my first & last names and add at least my website (www.katiehal.com)

The space differentiates you from another author with your name so it should not be removed.

You should be able to add the web site however. If you can't, contact support. Librarians cannot do it.
