Thank you my bestie girl! I have read a few of her other ones! I really liked The Good Lie - idk why it's not as popular but I thought it was a fun ride, Every Last Secret I thought was really good if you want something with female rage/revenge to the max, I wasn't a big fan of The Last Party - not sure if the audio screwed it up for me or if I just didn't like the characters at all, which is normally fine but the FMC was a deranged asshole mother and I probably just didn't like that lol. I want to try some of her even older ones this year - she published under another name too... Alessandra Torre- I think most of the books under her full name are more like erotica/thriller? I think she's a pretty solid author, hope you love whichever you pick up from her - keep me posted!! ❤️❤️

what you have read black lies?? this book is one of fav reads, god i still remember the plot twist and it blew my mind, it is one of those books where i liked cheating iykyk😌 i have read a few book by both her erotica and thriller pen names

This ones off to a good start! At first she threw a lot of names out and I was like wtf and who is who lol but after a couple chapters and getting my footing I'm really loving it! No one is likeable and it's unreliable narrators galore. Interested to see where it goes. I want to check out some of her other ones this year too - lmk which ones I should try! ❤️❤️

@Heather omg yes girl you get it! she seems to write thriller really well! i have the good lie on my tbr, but every last secret sounds really good too so i might have to check that out as well 👀 why does deranged asshole mother lowkey remind me of verity though lmao. but yeah, i believe her books published under alessandra torre are more erotica/romance mixed with suspense. thank you for that though, i'm gonna have to add your favs to my tbr now 🏃‍♀️

@afy yes i loved black lies so much!! the twist was insaneeee, i remember that book keeping me up all night. it was so good!!! absolutely one of those books where i didn't mind the cheating as much and the book kept me hooked despite that lol

I saw this book on netgalley this morning too and got so excited that she is releasing a thriller but the book is not available to request in my country lol so i will have to wait till july 😭i am happy you are loving it so far. on it!!

Samee! after finishing the book i was googling books like black lies too lmao, i remember reading three Multiple Personality books after it😭 i was that much captivated with it. unfortunately i havent found any book with similar vibe and plot like this

@afy so real of you 😭 if you're ever in the mood for something like that again, maybe love me whole by nicky james would fit? it's very sweet and filled with hurt/comfort though so it's not at all filled with twists and thrilling moments like black lies was lmao so it probably won't fulfil your craving but it's still worth a try!!

GOD this is one of those books i had read in my DID spree😭and agree the hurt x comfort element was sooo goood.also if i break series, it was like thousand pages long if we include all parts another one, wispers and roars had kinda? mm in it too, the plot twist was not much shocking😭

yes!! lmao bones was one of the alter ego so i kinda was okay with it but honestly speaking it was just odd, i didn't feel connected to their version of romance that much, some stuffs she did as bones were just idk odd
also why have we both read similar books lol😭

lmao I agree, I feel like she was kinda worse than Verity though lol if that's even possible. I loved the book verity but wasn't a fan of the character...maybe I just expected something different when I picked up The Last Party bc yeah I couldn't really connect with it - BUT I seem to be in the minority on that one so def check out that one too! Lmk if you read some of her other ones before me so I can add to the tbr as needed lol.
