What SF/F genre tropes should I tackle next? > Likes and Comments

It's 100% fantasy, but I've stumbled into the sub-genre of "cultivation" and find that it's really good fun. Seems to often go hand in hand with litRPG, which might or might not interest you.

Cultivation seems to be 100% how to level up your character stats? Or I may be missing something. (But I'm not a gamer—I was a hardcore TTRPG guy in my teens, but quit cold over 40 years ago).
Anyway, my next book, "Season of Skulls", is *all about* circa-1982 D&D and the fallout from the Satanic Panic back then. So that's not somewhere I'm going again in the near future!
